Hello

i've made a fresh install of ubuntu 20.04 and downloaded ArduinoIDE from Arduino's site.

and made

Code: [Select]
arduino-1.8.13$ sudo ./install.sh
Adding desktop shortcut, menu item and file associations for Arduino IDE...

 done!

i've an icon in application but no icon desktop and if i click on icon in application Arduino IDE doesn't open

My advice is to just forget about that install.sh script, icon, etc. You don't need any of that.

Just run the arduino script you find in the same folder as the install.sh script and the IDE will start right up.
