Topic: How do I interface the CAP1206 IC with Arduino? (Read 75 times) previous topic - next topic

I am planning to use the CAP1206 IC in my project. It communicates over I2C. I am having a hard time how to interface it with Arduino. Here is the datasheet.

Can someone guide me?

Thanks

For the I2C interface use the Wire library. SCL to SMCLK, SDA do SMDAT, GND and VDD as usual.

Use the I2C sniffer or some other I2C test program to verify proper operation of your installation.

Then dig into the chip registers and commands until you master all that.

Did you look for Arduino libraries for that chip?

Thank you for the reply.
Yes, I tried searching for libraries but unfortunately I haven't found any.
