Alternatives for AD5171
Aug 14, 2020, 11:27 am
I just there's an tutorial for the usage of a digital poti (AD5171) here:
https://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/DigitalPotentiometer
This uses the I2C protocol which I really like to use in my projects. I could not really find an AD5171 for the usage with either breadboards or PCB (through-hole).
Are there any comparable alternatives for this device for the usage of either I2C or SPI in combination with "legs" for a breadboad?
Thanks in advance and best regards!

Googling "digipot breakout" found several.

This shows me breakout boards, but I'd prefer chips to mount on my PCB or my breadboard.
