Arduino UNO HELP

I used this arduino yesterday to make an hello world Physical Computing but after a while the light that keeps on blinking after every second apart from this on light that lights constantly,could this arduino have had a fault.
Please anyone reply as i am new to this Microcontroller

Not sure what your symptoms are. Did you upload a sketch that writes "Hello World" using serial.println? Are you uploading the blink sketch?

Do you have any components attached?

The lights on the board itself are LEDs.

Are you saying that the LED on pin 13 blinks for a while, then goes solid on?

Best thing would be to post your sketch, and enclose it within CODE tags.
