Since this board has a connector for LiPo battery, how comes that designers totally forgot about on/off switch?

Give me a second . . . . . Nope, my crystal ball is still broken!!!!!!

Why do you need an on/off switch? Unplug the battery - power off, plug it in - power on.

If you need a power switch, make one on a small PCB, with a fly lead and socket for the battery.

Also, space MAY have been an issue, as almost ALL these SFF boards do not have power switches.

Going with SC2k on this one as power switches should be OFFBOARD by default.

Like a TV or most other appliances or electronic devices where the power selection is as SC2k says on a small seperate PCB etc.

To splice into a battery cable or make a small add on is pretty simple.

It may not be the answer you were looking for but its the one I am giving based on either experience, educated guess, google (who would have thunk it ! ) or the fact that you gave nothing to go with in the first place so I used my wonky crystal ball.
