I am new to Arduino and barely started today, I've been following the steps in the booklet for Arduino Uno Starter Kit. At one point when opening blink, I go to tools and then serial port but the only serial port that shows up is a bluetooth one instead of the usbmodem which should be available. When I go to the firmware updater and try to test the connection of the port it says, "Programmer not responding, Make sure that FirmwareUpdater Sketch is loaded on the board". Ten I also get "native serial port, cant obtain info" on the bottom left of my blink sketch. I seriously don't know what to do and have been confused and stuck for a while. Someone please help.
