I am attempting to use auto hot key to send a command to an Arduino to connect a circuit. The circuit will be wired to my radio and it will be used as an interupt to physically having to push the talk button on my radio. Ultimately so I can be away from my work but still have access to transmit on my radio. through remote access and audio through the pc.

Actually, the whole scenario is quite popular on amateur radio. And the equipment is not all that expensive. But you do need modern radio equipment and reliable computer and high speed internet service.

I have definitely the computer and internet able to do so this will be set up at an attraction in pigeon forge TN. The goal is to be able to remote into my computer and hit a key remotely to be able to transmit on the radio to the staff. Do you have any specific information that I could look into?

Sounds like a commercial radio installation. Does your transmitter allow remote operation?
