This is better than magnetic fields being relativistic electrical fields, which is pretty amazing enough.

What's the Poynt?

Your sketch can sense ongoing process events in time.
Your sketch can make events to control it over time.

The Poynt was quite clear..  nice clip....
Everything runs on smoke, let the smoke out, it stops running....

The idea that Drax power station puts energy into the universe and consumers a couple of hundred miles away take energy from the universe is a little hard to swallow, no matter how eminent the scientist.

That's what Nicola Tesla suggested he could do.

My recollection is very dodgy, but wasn't he proposing the wireless transmission of energy?

That's not what is being dealt with in the video.

You wrote about pushing energy into the universe and pulling it out of the universe elsewhere = wireless transmission of energy.

I presume you have watched the video from the Original Post.

My (limited) understanding of it is that while the toaster may be connected by wires to Drax power station the actual power that the toaster uses does not come through the wires, it comes from the universe.

By all means correct me if I have it wrong.

It puts energy into the field around the cable. The wire's internal charges support the whole external field.

Without the wire,  field power drops off quickly with range.

Around 6:40 he says

The energy going out of a power source doesn't have to be the same as the energy going into your devices
Which is what led me to Reply #2

The current my motor uses isn't the same current just leaving the PS either.

Between the generator and user are many stages, some at voltages and frequencies florescent tubes light up just being in the changing field but see how far away even that small effect quits.

The effect in the video relies on moving charges, it's an opposite and equal force, and we find out how the circle closes.

DSL uses the field outside of the twisted pair wires to reach much higher speeds than modem signal inside of the wire.
