Hi All, I am trying an arduino joystick project. This joystick not giving correct voltages. In the fixed position (no movement of the stick) I get these resistance readings.
LR -LR+= 5k ohm. LR+ to ground = 6.62k ohm. With these readings and a 5v source the output voltage should be 2.76v read at LR+. However I get 4.59v. I figure the only way this could happen is if there is a diode in parallel with the 6.62k ohm.
I can't see that any joystick should be built like this.
Can anybody suggest where I can find a good joystick for the arduino joystick project.
