the forumsoftware produces a lot of doubled empty lines

Hi Everybody,

this forum-software sucks!  I have to re-edit every posting for doubled empty lines.
(after the words "empty lines" I hit Enter one time to go to the next line let's see what the forum-software will scre-up with it.

After the words "up with it"  I hit enter two times to start a new paragraph this will produce two empty lines!


GRRRR!! then sometimes if I use another color by clicking on the color-symbol the browser-window jumps up to the top

Is anybody still responsible for maintaining the forum-software?

Short answer is NO there is very little responsibility for maintaining the current software.

Short answer V1.0 other software is supposedly in the pipeline but with no firm dates.

That is probably the best that can be offered at the moment so sorry about that.

I would suggest that anyone seeking official information uses either github or the report form or BOTH.
Address your Q to Alessandro Ranellucci who is the community manager.

This seems to have worked properly for me. Perhaps your Enter key is bouncing?

Huh.  "Something" keeps DELETING blank lines in my posts,

I'll double-space between paragraphs, and the blank line with disappear.  Sometimes.
