Topic: MKR IoT Carrier External Power? (Read 27 times) previous topic - next topic

I've got a MKR IoT Carrier board, with a MKR WAN 1310 plugged in.

We have an application where we want to power the carrier (and attached 1310) via an external 5 VDC source.

Is there a good way to provide 5 VDC power to the carrier?

We would prefer something more mechanically secure than through the Micro USB connector.

I see the J11 "PWR" plug, but there's a suggestion that it's just a pass-through to the battery connector on the 1310, so I don't think that would be appropriate.
