Only if you exceed the 40mA current maximum on an arduino pin. Do you know what the value of voltage you are getting from your speaker system before you connect it.

Its an input on the system, broken out from an aux cable, the ground going to a pin set low and my left channel wire going to my toggling pin
I don't believe there's any voltage

If there is no voltage then there can be no effect.
However it looks like it is small so it shoudn't be a problem.

I was thinking, perhaps because its a logic low, maybe its not an exact ground or by touching it im altering the ground somehow which would give a different sound
