Hello

I guess this is a very silly question..but I found no answer at the internet.

I try to rebuild the Arduino "Blink" Sketch with an IR LED. It works fine if I connect the IR LED directly to the pin 13 and ground. But when I connect the IR LED through a cable to my breadboard and after to the ground it appears no light on my camera.

Can anybody help me?

Many thanks!

Maybe the wire you are using is too thin, not making good connection in the arduino headers or the breadboard contacts.
(I hope you're using a resistor in series with that IR LED.)
If all else fails, post a picture of your set-up.

When all else fails, check your wiring!

Then simply you have not done what you think you have done.

Yes you need a resistor, if you did not use one maybe you have fried the output pin of your arduino, which might explain why it no longer works.
