There are a couple of things I might like to do for which a laser would be better (transparencies and masks for etching brass) and I considered a laser before I bought the ET-2750 but the price of toner cartridges is just extra-terrestrial. A replacement bottle of Epson ink costs about £9.00 and will last a claimed 5,000 pages - maybe two years.
The other thing that put me off was the weight of the laser printers. The two that I was considering weighed about 20kg. I don't have any place that would support that weight.
And I have the impression that inkjet printers are better for photos - as I had ruled out the laser for other reasons I did not check this out.
