Hi guys.
I need a 1.12" color oled to wrk on an arduino. It will have to run off an arduino nano, and will not have to do more than show 1-3 static, predefined bitmaps.
The display neds to have an active area of about 20x20mm, so please do not try to help by suggesting the 1.3" or 0.96".....they do not fit the 20x20mm spec and are not usable.
The problem: theres not much on the market, and the suppliers are not capable of supplying good support/documentation.
I have found several displays "bare" with the FCC cables coming out, and a few that are on SPI breakout boards. Some 7 pin, others 16 pin....
Aliexpress 16 pin unit
Aliexpress 7 pin unit
Aliexpress bare back version
The SPI ones come with an LD-7134 driver chip.....which i do not find any libraried for in arduino (i have asked here previously). The bare version show no indicarion of driver used.....not a good place to start.
Has anyone ever run a display like this successfully?
I have datasheet for LD7134 and SEPS114A.
Newhaven have initialisation code for SEPS114A
The chips look similar. Newhaven might help you (if you buy from them)
Otherwise you will just have to experiment by yourself.
Surely Aliexpress vendors will help you.
Or you ask Aunty Google.
David.

I have been sent the datasheet as well, but this does not helb me....my programming skills are far far away from being able to write a library.
Aliexpress vendors were no help whatsoever.....datasheet you haaave. Library no haave. Tried that adress first, but thats the problem with the cheap vendors. They just resell in large quantities.
Google didnt help much either......
The newhaven tip looks promising though (not their forum, seemingly its just people posting their problems, and updating what they try, until they either succeed and disappear, or give up). Ill give them a text, thanks
