1.8.11 IDE is freezing to include a new .ZIP library

When I try to include a library immediately after I click, the IDE freezes and I have to restart the program, which has the same error again and again.

I already tried to downloads the arduino IDE again, but it doesn't work. Just to be clear, the IDE freezes before I can select any library .zip folder, thus I can think that the error has not relationship with any lib.

Hi @Larrieu. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with Arduino IDE 1.8.11.

Which operating system are you using?

Were you previously using a different version of the Arduino IDE? If so, which version and were you able to use Sketch > Include Library > Add .ZIP Library successfully?
