1 Channel 5V Relay Module has 4 PINS instead of 3.

So I recently bought a 1 Channel 5V Relay Module with Optocoupler online. To my surprise, when I received the product, unlike general Relay Module with 3 PINS i.e. VCC, IN, GND; this one has 4 PINS i.e. V+, G1, G2, IN. Anyone got any idea how to wire this up ?

Use a meter to see if G1 & G2 are connected, It just looks like an easy way to connect the driving voltage on V+ and G1, and the signal in IN & G2.

So G1 and G2 are just grounds ?

Opto-isolated modules - if they are in fact opto-isolated, must have four terminals, one pair for power and one for the control signal and its return.

You have failed to consider the rules for posting. Saying "I recently bought a 1 Channel 5V Relay Module with Optocoupler online" is just completely foolish. You need to cite the on-line website from which you purchased it. Is that not blatantly obvious?

Hey Hulo,
Were you able find solution of your problem, I also have got the same type relay, thus facing the same issue. Checked that G1 and G2 are not connected with each other.
I wanna connect it with Arduino Nano. Please support, if anyone is aware.
Thanks and Regards

OK, well the original picture is simply useless since most of it is obscured. :astonished:

So if you can now do what the OP completely failed to do, and give us a Web link to where you purchased this relay module so we can actually inspect it and figure out the circuit, then not only can we instruct you on how to use it, but the OP may even be assisted as well!
