First I hope all the community is safe and away from the COVID thing, please take care of you and your family and stay home as much as you can.
These days I have some estra time and I got into that box full of oddities that we all have somewhere in between the attic and the basement and found this extremely large touch panel that I would like to use in a project.
The sensing size is 136mm x 217m, which gives a diagonal of around 10". The connector is a 10 pin flat flexible cable for which I happen to have a connector to jumping wires. So it is easy to connect to an arduino board.
It looks to be using I2C to control, but here comes the issue that makes me ask for help in this forum. I don't know what library or code I should use to get the coordinates of this great panel.
I am attaching the pinout of the panel, as well as a picture and the controller chip that is embedded into the flex wire.
If somebody could guide me about where to look or how to start I would be eternally grateful.
