10 servomotors in parallel?

Hi, I'm connecting 10 servomotors in parallel and they are controlled by arduino independently using the outputs 2-3-4-5-6-7-14-15-16-17 I need to organize the voltage because is not going good when i send values, I'm moving 6 more than others. The servomotor is a Futaba S3003 that works with 4.8v I'm calculating that every ground connection needs 1 ohms, but I want to be sure. Thanks a lot for the help! Kind regards David

Good idea to use an external power supply for the 10 servos. Yes, you can use a servo shield.

Here is a page where I show my solution. http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1265626147/6#6

The orange and green wires carry the servo signal. The other 2 rows of pins are the common parallel power and ground. The ground is tied to the ground on the Arduino and to the power supply.

My power supply is a 11.1v LiPo battery and a voltage regulator, but it could be 4 AA batteries.
