When a post is listed it has the original poster, the last one and the number of views.
Is the views count reflecting only registered and logged in ppl or is it somehow counting the total number of views?
I see many good answers and it’s a bit sad that only twelve people, for example, nine of whom might already know more than has posted, have read the thread…

IIRC it only counts "signed in" users.
There may be many many unofficial views of a post via web browser results etc.
Attachments to posts may often show more views as they are not counted the same way and even a google bot parsing will count as a view for the attachment.
