Hello, I am trying to figure out how and what to connect to a single arduino uno's analog pins- I have 14 sensors which need to be connected to 1 arduino and read all at once or simultaneously but unfortunately it only has 6 analog pins. Any wiring/part/coding would be helpful.
Use a 4051 analogue multiplexer like the one in this project:- http://www.thebox.myzen.co.uk/Hardware/MIDI_Footsteps.html
You can't do things simultaneously without extra hardware, it is seldom necessary anyway. The samples will be 0.1mS apart.
Can anyone tell me how to hook up the BOB-09056 to the arduino so i can read off 16 analog inputs. Thank you
On the SparkFun page about this interface under the documents tab there is this link which tells you. http://bildr.org/2011/02/cd74hc4067-arduino/
Can i connect to any other digital pins except 8,9,10,11 if i change it in the code?
Yes to any other pins to drive the address lines. The output still needs connecting to A0 or above.
Thank you very much.
