I'm very new to Arduino, and I was wondering where I could find an 8-channel or 16-channel relay for US residential wiring. This is for controlling a 120v 15A line, hoping to automate a few rooms in my house via iOS app. I was looking at the Sainsmart 16-channel relay but its only 10A. Thanks.
Higher current relays are likely to be expensive. Have you considered SSRs (Solid State Relay)?

Residential, you won't find anything that will pass code.

Might be a safer albeit expensive solution.
Not sure if they are UL approved though
