2 antennas for 433mhz receiver FS1000A ?

Hi, i'm currently use a FS1000A receiver inside my car, with a diy antenna for locking/unlocking my car.
The problem is that The rf signal doesn't have a good penetration only if i increase the range, Which i don't want because:

As you can see in my interpretation of how i see the RF signal, because the rf module is placed under the stereo radio (this location of the arduino can't be changed) the rf signal can go up to 6m in the front of the car But it won't go as long as the car is so when i stand in front of my trunk it will unlock.
I also tried to increase the range my using a bigger antenna of receiver and on transmitter but it seems that i increase the range too much in the front of the car. So, i won't do this.

My question is : 1.Can i attach another antenna to the receiver and that antenna to be placed in the back of the car ?
2.How i can fix my problem then ?

PS: Don't offtopic ( last topic was 3 pages long because of offtopic)

You didn't describe your antenna. Yes, you can move the antenna to anyplace you want by using coax cable, 50 ohm impedance. Try placing it right at one edge of window glass.

My antenna is made randomly by rotating a copper wire around a pencil with the length of around 3cm

Try 17 cm of straight wire.

Ye but what if the range will increase ?, and if not, i'll still not be able to transmit the RF signal from the back of my car.

I'm thinking of moving the whole receiver using a long 3 wire, wire (5V, ground, signal) in the middle of the car, is there a problem because the length of the signal wire will be > 3m long ?

I'm also thinking of attaching the antenna to the antenna of the car radio but this might be the stupidest idea if the antenna have some sort of 12V in it  right ?

What would you do ?

Why are you afraid of experimenting?

Because i need to buy a wire of that length and don't know if it's better with coax cable and move only the antenna
or just internet wire and use 3 of them in order to connect the module

That is an interesting idea. However you decide to do it, you will have better luck if your antenna is next to a window. You could run digital wires of considerable length between the Arduino and the receiver, because the signals are relatively very slow. This would also avoid RF losses in the coaxial cable.

it's pretty hard to access the top middle point of my car and if i use it near a window again, i won't solve my problem

Then try putting the antenna under the car, but in the middle.

What do you mean, "again"? I don't see any mention of you positioning it near a window.

Because what i want is a equal rf signal is all the directions of the car if it is where it is now it's the same if i'll put near my front window, a lot of rf signal in the front of the car and a lot less in the back of it, same if i put it on a side

Also, i can't access the bottom of the car in any way
The only solution that i see now is to use 2 antennas
One where it is now and another one in the back of the car near the truck, but with the equal power

"Also, i can't access the bottom of the car in any way".

I have never seen a car that didn't have rubber plug somewhere in the floor. Poke the wire through the middle of a rubber plug.

Have you calculated the RF cable losses?

I'll take a look tomorrow at daylight but i have the impression that putting the antenna on the bottom of the car is not a good idea, the rf will pass harder throught the metal of the doors.
I'll also look tomorrow if i can access the middle of the car, ask my mechanic...

I have no idea what is this

Hi,
Try post #3, why are you afraid of a couple of meters extra range, you have got your RF system coded so only our Tx will work with your Rx?

You will not get exactly equal range around the car because of the shape of the metal car.

Because i need to buy a wire of that length

No you don't, use some hookup wire and a ruler, there is nothing special about the aerial wire.

6-7m is already too much for the front of the car
The car will lock only after 5 seconds with no rf signal so this means i can walk 10-15m and the car won't be locked

How are you using the remote.
Press button once, car unlocks.
Press button again car locks.
That is how my remote lock works, and most other systems.
Why have the car lock if no RF signal?
Why don't you wait for you car to lock, before walking off?
Tom......

Ok, let me explain you:
I have a transmitter attached to my key which send a signal every 500ms no matter what
Into my car i have the receiver placed under my stereo radio and basicly how it works is by calculating the interval between each received signal(with my message) and if the interval is lower then 600 the it unlocks the car
If not, it tries 5 more times(5000ms) to check if there is any message received and if is not then the car locks itself

I made a video but i'm very nervous in it beside that i don't know english very well

There are a lot of modifications from july to now but the unlocking procedure and range/penetration are the same

I didn't went in the back of the car but you must trust me that if i stay with the receiver in my pocket, next to the truck, the rf signal don't reach the receiver!

If you watch the video watch only the intro, the rest is just s#it

Have you considered the problem may be your transmitter? What antenna is on it?
