20V Power Source Separate to Arduino

Hello! I am working to put together a waveform generator device with the Arduino. I know it can only handle output 5V. However, is it possible to input an external 20V sources somewhere in the circuit? Whether it is getting sent to the opamp or something? Goal is to get a 20 v square wave.

You can use a 20V to 5V step down regulator or a 5V to 20V converter for the output voltage.

Use a transistor switch to generate a higher voltage square wave from a digital output, as shown below. The signal logic levels are inverted in the process.

I'm confused as to whether you want to generate a 20V output or input a 20-V signal.

For exactly what purpose? What is it driving? You need to know as for example, the circuit above has an effective output impedance related to "R2".

If you need it to drive any significant load, the circuit you need will be that of a common audio amplifier supplied by a slightly greater voltage.

Your link was not much help, it shows a weird picture of the circuit oriented as if somebody was laying down drawing it. What you want to do is fine however we want to give you a valid answer. What are you driving or what is the input impedance of what the square wave is driving, what is the min and max voltage requirements, and of course the frequency?
