3.7v or 7.4v for Arduino?

I am buying a battery for my project(using arduino uno r3) and the only choice is 3.7v and 7.4v. Which one should I choose?

The 7.4V one. and apply that to the Vin pin.

The problem with the Uno's documentation is that it does not clearly state (for a beginner) that the "working" voltage is 5V. You can derive that from the tech specs.

So 3.7V will be too low.

The other spec is

which applies to the barrel and Vin; also not the most clear indicator for a beginner.
