Does anyone know of a good way to use the arduino with 3 steppers for CNC use (using reprap.org's gcode interpreter for arduino)? I know I could just use 3 of reprap's boards, but it would be easier if there was a good controller that I could interface with the arduino instead. Any ideas?
I'd go with the reprap board. From the look of the schematics it's dead simple, pretty cheap and very robust. Easier to not try to reinvent the wheel.
I know it's simple, but $28 for a kit is a little much. However, if I could find all of the parts on Mouser, I might be able to build it for less. The PCB only costs $5...
Okay... After pricing it, I now realize that the rrrf's price is generous.
