I'm writing to have some questions about relation motor power with board.
I want to use two 3v gear motors and one servo motor to drive with only the power of the board(such as Arduino Nano or uno) without external power supply. Is this possible? If possible, is there a site I can refer to?
If it is not possible (when external power such as a battery must be used), how is it simpler to configure the circuit?
Are the motors to rotate in only one direction or do they need to be able to go forward and reverse?
If it needs to be reversible, an H-bridge driver will be required. Pololu has a great line of modern motor drivers and good instructional pages for the use of each of their products. Choose a driver based on the motor's rated voltage and stall current.
If the motor needs to rotate in only one direction a simple MOSFET driver would suffice. Again, choose the MOSFET based on motor supply voltage and stall current.
The MG995 requires a power supply that delivers 5 to 6V at 2 Amperes (for each servo).
The gearmotors are rated for 3V and probably require about 300 mA each (so 1 Ampere for 3), guessing from the information that a reputable supplier provides.
A 6V to 3V stepdown regulator, capable of at least 1 Ampere, could be used to reduce the servo power supply voltage.
