3 wire reed switch- how to bybass

I have a 40V Ryobe lawn mower which has MANY safety switches. A reed switch is used to sense whether the grass catcher is in place or not. This safety feature is too safe-- the mower doesn't work unless I jiggle the grass bag (and get lucky)!

This is a 3 wire reed switch. To deactivate it do I jump all 3 wires to each other, or just two??

You're in the Arduino forums, asking a question not related to Arduino at all - and you know it's a reed switch but yet not how to wire it? None of this makes any sense (to me at least).

Place a permanent magnet close to the switch. So you do not mess with the switch itself. They are fragile

I don't know if it is a good idea to tamper with lawn mowers...
