32 AWG Wire Connection

Hi - I apologize in advance for the beginner question but I have a haptic motor with 32 gauge wire on the end. Any advice on how to connect that to a breadboard? Can I solder one end to a 24 gauge wire or are there any connectors for a small wire?

Thanks.

Solid or stranded? Makes a big difference. If solid, you need a fixed location to put those wires and then you can solder flexible wires at that point.

If those 32 gauge wires are flexible, you need to tin those wires and the 24 gauge wires and then you can solder them together. And put heat shrink tubing over the splice and shrink it to hold and protect the wires.

Crimping Dupont cables.

I'd be worried about the 32 AWG wire breaking so hopefully there's a way to lock it down (tie-wrap it or glue it to to the motor or something) so only the heavier gauge wires get flexed or pulled-on.

Thank. The wire is solid. Hopefully that helps.
