36-pin male header

I want to stack the Arduino Mega with a proto shield.
For that I need 1* 6-pin long female header and
5* 8-pin long female header. But what about
the 36-pin? Does anyone have a solution or a
creative mind?

How about a 36-pin header?

yes, it's possible to take two 20*1 pin male headers and then cut 1 pin of every row.
But I want to avoid soldering at the orinigal print. Found already al solution. I ordered
20x1 female headers with long pins at dipmicro.com. With that I can stack though
the Arduino proto shield. But I should be more elegant if there was 20x2 female
pin header with long pins.

Harwin do a 40-pin one if it's of any interest:

Samtec will do just about any size. Check out the SSW range.

They don't look stackable to me - the pins look much too short.

Pin length is an option.

Part #s
SSW-118-24-F-D solder tail
SSW-118-24-F-D square tail

would be about right. The 24 is the pin type, 14mm long and low insertion force.
