360 degree IR diode

Does somethink like that exist? The IR diodes I have found point either straighht forward or to (one) side.

Since there are not even 360 degree Led's in the visible light range I doubt that :wink:

Building a dice with 6 IR Leds should get you there...

Thanks for the input. The solution I chose was to use a simple small lightbulb. That emits enough IR for my purposes. Another option would be to grind off the top of the diode which should spread the light more.
