3d char array from java to arduino

i would like some help on declaring a 3d char array from java to arduino

char anaptigma[6][3][3]= { { { {b}, {b}, {b} }, { {b}, {b}, {b} }, { {b}, {b}, {b} } }, { { {o}, {o}, {o} }, { {o}, {o}, {o} }, { {o}, {o}, {o} } }, { { {w}, {w}, {w} }, { {w}, {w}, {w} }, { {w}, {w}, {w} } }, { { {r}, {r}, {r} }, { {r}, {r}, {r} }, { {r}, {r}, {r} } }, { { {g}, {g}, {g} }, { {g}, {g}, {g} }, { {g}, {g}, {g} } }, { { {y}, {y}, {y} }, { {y}, {y}, {y} }, { {y}, {y}, {y} } } };

but i am getting an error

declaration of 'anaptigma' as multidimensional array must have bounds for all dimensions except the first

any help?

Hi satsok

Try single quote marks for the character constants instead of braces:

{ 'b', 'b', 'b' },
etc

How are the names b, o, w, r, g, and y defined?!?
