3d printer in a mini fridge

I'm not an expert on 3d printing, but isn't it good to have fully heated and insulated 3d printers?

Has anyone tried to make one themselves, like in a minifridge?
Should I pursue this idea, or is there something I am missing?

Yes. This is not a 3D printer forum.
