I'm studying the possibilites of having a 4-20mA current output proportional to a Due's DAC output. This DAC output voltage has a range of 0,55V to 2,75V and my goal is to achieve a proportional 4-20 mA output from that.
I found a possible solution in this link. I tested it on a simulation of software and it seems to work properly. But I'm looking for more possible ways of doing that.
I know that there is a family of voltage to current converter ICs called "XTR". I've been thinking about using XTR105 but I'm not sure if it would work or if I should pick another XTR. I'm also confused on the wiring.
With that said, I'd like to aks for advices on that. Using a XTR could be a good option? Or maybe there is a better solution?
