Hi, guys. I'm trying to do a project using four 5x7 led dot matrix display. How do i go about configuring the hardware? Do i need ULN2803 , 74HC595 shift register to program it? Can you guys give some links on how i should set up ? Thanks very much

Fine, if you don't want it to actually work then you can miss out the shift registers altogether.
