4 position switch-howto

Hi everyone,

I took apart an alarm clock/radio (digital) and found a wealth of components!! :slight_smile: I also found a 4 position slider switch. If someone needs a picture, I can post it (the URL is huge). I looked for datasheets or tutorials, but no luck. :frowning: Does anyone have any knowledge on using these with or without the Arduino? Any help would be appreciate.
I am a n00b, so please correct me if I'm doing something wrong!

You are best looking at the connections with a continuity meter and seeing what terminals connect to what other other terminals in each of the switch position. There are three or four ways it could be arranges so you will have to investigate.
