4 Strain Gauges (Full-bridge)

Hi all,

First of all I would like to make clear that I have no experience with arduino or programming so I would really appreciate your help.
I am designing weighing scales that use 4 strain gauges(1000 Ohms). Can I connect all of the 4 gauges with one arduino to translate the change in the resistivity into weight?
If yes, how difficult will it be for someone who has no experience to program an arduino?

Thanks in advance.
Antonis

You need amplification for the load cells - see HX711 .

Scales give weight not mass !

Oh... that's heavy man...

I am sorry my friend I was confused  thank you for your help

Yes, it's possible to use an Arduino to do what you want. You will need signal amplification as hammy stated.
As to how difficult it will be, the answer is 37.
Seriously, how hard is it to learn French or Swahili? It depends on the person doing the learning, and also to some extent on the language. There is no easy answer to this. If you have no programming experience, it will take you some time.
