4 x 8 x 8 led matrix module sketch please

Hi,

I have 4 or 5 of the 8 x 8 led modules with the chip on board that link together, I have searched the internet and downloaded several sketches that don't seem to compile because they are for older versions of the Arduino IDE, if anyone has an up to date scrolling text sketch I would be most grateful.

Have you looked at the Parola library for multiple MAX7219s?

Hi Crossroads,

Thanks for the heads up, although I have just downloaded the library and tried to run the example, however I get this Error:

fatal error: MD_MAX72xx.h: No such file or directory

Does this mean that I have got to install further libraries ?

I have just installed the missing MD_MAX72xx library and i now have a whole load of errors
