4D 1.5" uOLED 4 Sale

Couldn't find a right spot for this post so this looks the best, I have a 4D Systems [ch956]OLED-128-G1 mounted in a custom case with enough room to put the included 1.5" Touch Screen from Liquidware on top.(I'm including a SMT & a regular connector for the touchscreen) Along with a vibration motor I planned on using with it for button press notifications. All together everything's worth about $100 and it's all brand new, about a week old only opened to test. I decided I wanted to go with a bigger screen with a Touch Screen attached already. So here's the link to ithttp://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280513717483&ssPageName. Or if your interested and don't want to go through eBay send me a PM and we cant talk. I hope the forum gods don't frown upon this post, I need to get some money back to put towards a TouchShield Slide or uOLED-320XX-P1T. Thanks for checking it out all.

This kind of post really should go into bar/sport - remember that for next time, k? Mods may move your post there, so be aware of that, too...

Hi irishMEngineer,

Have you considered asking 4D Systems about possibly sponsoring your project or something similar? They seem to be getting on board the Arduino bandwagon and have just released display shields of their own for the smaller PMOLED range of display modules.

Have a look on their website.

Cheers,
marQ

Ya I saw that, I usually check their site everyday day or two when I go to see if there is any new topics on their forum. Thanks for the info though. I actually went ahead and bought the uOLED-32024-P1T around the time I originally made this post. About a month later I ended up selling the other screen. I liked the model I sold, but I love the new one even better. The sd slot supports fat, .wav playback,on board speaker, and the built in touch screen and functions work amazingly with no drift(dead accurate), in addition to all the other functions. All I had to do was edit the library I got off Jordan, a member on here yot I think, for the 128 screen a little bit to support the bigger screen size, as all commands are (msb:lsb) format, and of-course add functions for the more extensive built in functions. I had contacted 4D before I bought it off a local dealer here in NY online (who was cheaper, and personally uploads the latest firmware before shipping to you http://shop.littlepcbsolutions.com/) and they said if you keep them updated on your project as a college student they would give you a pretty decent discount.

Sorry for being off-topic;

marQ: Do you work for 4d-systems?

Jeroen

edit: I know J e r o e n is difficult for anyone outside The Netherlands but i haven't been called Jordan yet. Upto now that is. :slight_smile:
