5 Pin 1NO1NC Button to Arduino

Hi, I’ve got a button I’m trying to be read by my arduino. Please see attached image

I have it wired according to the bottom configuration in the picture. The problem I’m having is that when I run the ACC wire to the arduino digital input pin, the button is always jumping between 1 & 0. However, when the button is pressed then it will stay on 1, once depressed it goes back to jumping

Any idea why it might be jumping between 1 & 0 when not being pressed? I obviously need it to remain in a LOW 0 state. I’ve checked all my soldering connections but obviously I’m missing something.

Please and thank you!

Your Arduino input is probably floating; try a pulldown resistor on the input

Figured it out. Thank you!!!
