5v sensor Arduino Due

Hi,
I am trying to connect an ultrasonic sensor to my Due board. The sensor requires 5v and I know the Due only supports 3.3v on its inputs and outputs. Will the diode, resistor combintaion attatched below be enough to protect the input from damage by the 5v signal produced by the sensor?

Thanks!

Yes, although I would increase the resistor values by a factor of about 5 or 10, and omit the diode.
