Anyone know of a pin-compatible chip to replace the 74C14N? I have several old project boards that call for this chip, and it seems they are no longer available/made. Would rather find a replacement than redo the board. Thanks in advance....

I'm assuming the description of a hex schmitt trigger refers to an ic that contains 6 schmitt triggers.

If that's the case, then the TC74HC14APF-ND seems to be an alright choice. Seems to be a descendent of the 74C14N anyways

From what voltage do these projects run?

Essentially, the only reason not to replace a 74C14 or its alter-ego, the 40106 with a 74HC14 is that the latter is restricted to a logic supply of 5W whilst the former operate up to 15V.
