74HC series data sheets

Hi I'm trying to find the following documents :-

  1. The IC06 74HC/HCT/HCU/HCMOS Logic Family Specifications
  2. The IC06 74HC/HCT/HCU/HCMOS Logic Package Information
  3. The IC06 74HC/HCT/HCU/HCMOS Logic Package Outlines

Unfortunately, most 74 series datasheets have these words on the first page so searching for them doesn't return any useful results.

Thanks, Paul.

One of the “free datasheet download” sites might have them, but you should start with manufacturer sites like ti.com.

There is no actual part number there... what part numbers are you actually looking for?

yea package information and package outline is going to be dependent on the model a 164 is a smaller package than a 244, then they come in all shapes now days from tsop to ceramic dip's

Here's an example. Have a look at the big red box at the top of the first page ...

what part numbers are you actually looking for?

"IC06", I think: TI used to publish family-wide specs as sections of their digital databook, instead of putting some specs (like package info) on each datasheet. Maybe they still do.

IC06 helped. I've got No. 1.

Came across these while I was searching ...

T.I. Digital Logic Pocket Book http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/scyd013b/scyd013b.pdf

The three documents you're looking for are essentially "family" manuals that describe the characteristics of the chips you're looking at "as a family." "IC06" is probably some internal part number.

Logic Family Specifications will describe things like supply and logic level voltages, and the other two will go into details about the packaging; measurements, evironmental data, and so on.

You don't really need to look at these for most applications, which is why they're in separate documents instead of being tacked on to every datasheet.

But... Philips Semiconductor division spun out to become NXP, and you can find these documents here: http://ics.nxp.com/support/documents/logic/

That's exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you.
