Just so I have the correct parts..
.33uF CERAMIC capacitor on the input
0.1uf CERAMIC as well then? for the output?
(dang.. those ceramic disk caps are ugly!) LOL
I've looked at so many schematics for the LM7805.. I'm not sure what to believe any more (I guess just the datasheet?)
Some have 10uF electrolytic caps on both input and output (which would be easier if acceptable.. since I have those laying around already)

Some show a electrolytic cap 100uF on input and 10uFF on output..

Some show a non-polarized .33uF cap on input and non-polarized 0.1uF cap on output
