8x2 LCD serial enabled needed

Are there any 8x2 serial enabled LCDs out there for purchase? I currently have a 16x2 working, but it won't fit in my new panel, so I have to scale down to a 8x2. I like the only 3 wire setup that is needed for serial enabled.

You can use the same I2C adapter for your 8x2. Check that the 8x2 LCD signals have the same pin-out as your 16x2 display.

What are the I2C adapters? My original 16x2 display had everything built in. Thanks!
