Hi, i'm designing a midi controller (using serial to midi bridge) for professional lighting, and i'm thinking about using a mega2560 pro mini to control the main 9x9 switch matrix. Since i'll be using some rotary encoders too (whose need low latency to have a clear read), is it an arduino mega enough on speed to read an entire 9x9 matrix of switches fast enough to have a pretty decent low latency?
Yes.

It can do it easily, can your code control it so it does what you want? You might want to define low latency.
