A few questions about this LED strip...

The LED strip of concern is: http://store.arduino.cc/product/MK00578

  1. Would this LED strip be suitable for use as an underglow system on a snowmobile? It seems to be weather proof, but would it be bright enough? Would it work in the cold?

  2. How long is each unit? A meter?

  3. Does it come with a product like a transformer that will convert the on-board 12V power supply to 5V?

Not too sure about 1 or 2. There is no spec sheet to answer your questions. Ask the store for a spec sheet.
I'm sure 3 is not included. You need to get a circuit to convert 12V into 5V.
