Good - thanks for the input, but my pcb designer likes to have mounting holes on all corners to support the ethernet cabling.
As for building a RS485 board ... futurlec.com has them for about $5.00 apeice. This cost cannot be beat anywhere. By paying ExpressPCB $51 +
shipping just for blank boards, it is a lot cheaper to buy them.
