A helo

Hi guys. Brand new here. First post. Thought I would introduce myself. Like to start off by saying I just recently purchased a 3d printer and that is why I joined this site.

I will also say I am completely in the dark with this coding and gcode. It is completely foreign to me. I hope to learn, and I hope you guys can train an old dawg. There are a few things I would like to figure out, so hoping you guys are available to help me.

Arduino is not really the place for gcode.

If you had questions about Marlin and C++, then yes, that is what is used on many Atmega2560/Ramps 1.4 boards.
Gcode will be generated by the progams like Fusion360 and then Slic3R to create the files that the 3D printer will print (typically from an SD card).
