A question regarding connecting the elechouse VR3 and motors to the Arduino Uno

How are you doing guys? I need your help.
I am thinking of building a voice controlled robot.

Is it possible to connect the Arduino Uno to both the :

1- Elechouse Vr3 voice recognition PCB and
2- the DK Electronics PCB that is used to connect more than one motors ( DC and servo ) to the Arduino

both 1 and 2 at the same time?

i dont know but when i attach the motor PCB card on top of the Arduino Uno there is no room to connect the VR3!

looking 4ward to your reply

So, we are to search out the parts that you mention (and hope that we get the right ones) so that we can help you. Doesn't it make more sense for you to provide clickable links to the parts to make it easy on the helpers?

Please read the how to get the best of the forum sticky.

Hi

note I need to connect at least 2 dc motors and a servo. thats why i need the L293D motor shield.

What motors do you have? Is the L293 an appropriate driver for your motors? Trick question, the ancient and inefficient L293 is a crappy motor driver. The L293 dissipates 2 to 4 volts of the motor power in the output drivers as heat. Modern drivers are much more efficient.

Pololu has a good line of DC motor drivers. Choose a drive that will handle the motor stall current. Similar drivers are available elsewhere, but Pololu has good instructional pages for all of their drivers.
