So, we are to search out the parts that you mention (and hope that we get the right ones) so that we can help you. Doesn't it make more sense for you to provide clickable links to the parts to make it easy on the helpers?
What motors do you have? Is the L293 an appropriate driver for your motors? Trick question, the ancient and inefficient L293 is a crappy motor driver. The L293 dissipates 2 to 4 volts of the motor power in the output drivers as heat. Modern drivers are much more efficient.
Pololu has a good line of DC motor drivers. Choose a drive that will handle the motor stall current. Similar drivers are available elsewhere, but Pololu has good instructional pages for all of their drivers.
